In a press conference held in Lucknow on May 28, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) of Uttar Pradesh, Awanish Awasthi informed that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the Health Department to use pulse oximeter in every quarantine facility across the state.
He also demonstrated the mechanism and working of pulse oximeter during the media brief and called it a better choice over thermal screening device.
