11 pm live Monday night protest goes into neighborhood

Fourth night in a row in downtown lexington sunday night we saw an organized march but abc36's monica harkins joins us live from tonight's protest.... it seems to have started more organically than we've seen in days past.

Monica, police joined in the march tonight?

That's right.

Last night police knelt with officers and tonight about 20 officers joined in...marching down main street..

We've been following the march all night.

What started as about 20 or so people with signs on main street turned into hundreds marching through the streets.

Sunday night we had a marked out route organizers led the crowd down.

Tonight people marching were aimlessly leading the group.

One tense moment?

Some of the protestors jumped on a police car..nothing came of that though.

I talked to kaulbert wilson who unoffically became a leader...leading chants and where the group went.

He says he wants change.

They have a policy to go by and they don't ever go by it they're supposed to do the best of their c1 3 ability to keep everybody safe and keep them alive for an officer to be seen on george floyd's neck there's no need.
