Kimt news 3's madelyne watkins met with an over of a camper renting company, talking about his current struggles.

She joins us live now.

These campers behind me have just been sitting in the parking lot for the last few months instead of being rented out like usual.

Owner of ez campers in stewartville, edward kruger, tells me normally by this time of year... he's already rented out most of his campers.

But because of campgrounds being closed the last few months and families not able to take vacation... he's had no reservations.

Kruger and his wife have owned and ran the business on their own for four seasons now.

He tells me as some campgrounds slowly start to open up... he's hoping he can bring in some income "i'm just hoping that maybe with kids off for the summer and wanting to get out, stuck in the house for an extra couple months this year that maybe we start doing instead of ?

"* usually i'm just weekend rentals but maybe they'll be some people that want to beat the crowds and do some tuesday to friday rentals.

Kruger says he applied for funding, but he wasn't able to get approved.

He tells me they just have to take it day by day for now.

And kruger says to keep the campers clean and sanitized, they have cleaning crew come in once a week.
