NYPD officer refuses to identify himself during George Floyd protests

A New York City Police officer was filmed refusing to identify himself during a George Floyd protest on June 3.

The footage shows Vincent Evelyn shows the officer manning a gate in downtown Brooklyn as he explains that he's been given "interim orders" from "directly above." Evelyn claims this is a breach of the Right to Know act and the video has garnered over 200,000 views on his Twitter account @BreezeCrypto.

He said: "NYPD officer tells me he has orders from above to remove his name tag, badge number, precinct pins and body camera downtown Brooklyn new york near protests.
