Airport manager---jim wadleigh--- tells me that passenger travel at the redding municpal airport is down significantly--- which is expected---since travelling is stil* not encouraged like you mentioned, scott--- the terminal at the redding municpal aiprort is open--- but because the number of people travelling has dipped---so has the number of flights.

Airport officials say before the coronavirus--- there were three flights to and from san francisco and one to and from los angeles.

Private, corporate, and air cargo flights are down too, bu* are still operating.

Airport officials say they continue to encourage travelers to follow the recommendations of health officials--- for example, take any opportunity to wash your hands thoroughly, avoid touching your face, using hand-sanitizer, follow social distancing guidelines and space apart from other travelers and bringing a mask.

If you happen to forget a mask or do not have one---the airport offers complimentary masks which you are required to wear while on board.
