Kids go through McDonalds drive-thru in 'Little Tikes' toy cars

This hilarious video shows the moment two excited children got to pick up their first McDonalds in months - in "Little Tikes" toy cars that they 'drove' through the drive-thru.After finding out that McDonalds was reopening their drive-thru service, 13-year-old Danielle Martin begged her mum, Taz, to take her to their nearest branch of the fast food chain.Taz, 42, initially refused, telling her daughter the queues would be "ridiculous" - but Dannielle persisted, trying to come up with creative ways to get her hands on a Big Mac meal. And when the teen sent her mum a photo of a children's "Little Tikes" toy car, joking: "This is what I need", Taz decided to humour her - and got her hands on two of the cars for her two daughters.Taz, from Wisbech, Cambs., told Dannielle and her sister Teigan, nine, that they could go and pick up their own McDonalds in the cars - and to her surprise, they did.The funny footage shows Dannielle and Teigan awkwardly navigating their way through the drive-thru in the little plastic cars, which are far too small for them, and pushing the order call button. They seemed undeterred by the rain as they finally picked up their tasty dinner treats last Wednesday evening (June 3) - a Big Mac meal for Dannielle, and a Happy Meal for Teigan.Taz, who was driving slowly behind them in her car, said: "It was so funny - all the staff came to the window and were laughing."In the video, you can see Teigan kind of flip her car over on its side."I didn't think they were actually going to go through with it, but they've been trying for ages to find a McDonalds near us that is open."We went at about 9.30 in the evening, so it wasn't so busy.""They were ever so happy when they finally got their meals.

They're asking me already if they can go back."Taz added: "We got their meals for free in the end, because the staff botched their orders.

So I had to go back round again in my car to pick up the right order."She said she borrowed the cars from her childminder, and has now returned them to her.But she joked: "We'll have to think of something different for when I take them to KFC!"
