Your Pet Cat Could Catch COVID-19

Cats can catch the new coronavirus from humans.

According to UPI, a report released Monday shows that our furry feline friends can catch COVID-19.

Scientists however do not yet know if pets can pass the virus on to humans or other household animals.

The findings are based on an analysis of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in cats in New York state.

The cats that tested positive for the virus lived in homes in which one person had a confirmed COVID-19 infection.
