According to CNN, the pop singer also shared a video from The Root on social media.
It explained why Juneteenth should be a holiday and how it marks the day slavery officially ended in the U.S. Swift also said that she would spend Juneteenth to "continue to educate myself on the history that brought us to this present moment.
