An awareness and training programme for COVID-19 was held in Himachal Pradesh's Shimla on June 24.
The programme was organised by Tourism Industry Stakeholders Welfare Association.
All the stakeholders from tourism industry gathered to plan their strategies.
Shimla is the first city in the country to start such awareness programme.
While speaking to ANI, the President of Tourism Industry Stakeholders Association, Mohinder Seth said, "Shimla is first city in the country to take such initiative.
We will train hotel staff so tourists feel safe." There are 324 active cases of COVID-19 in Himachal Pradesh.
