Pickup truck driver crashes into bus shelter then drives away

This is the shocking moment a pick-up truck crashed into a bus shelter dragging it to the ground then drove away.

The delivery vehicle pulled up alongside the metal stand but snagged the roof in Pathum Thani, central Thailand, on June 22.

The metal sheet roof was dragged for a few metres by the vehicle which then slowed down after the driver realised he had it the column.

CCTV footage from a local restaurant captured the accident before the driver pulled away without checking on the damage.

Onlooker Nakarin Buddadui, 17, said he was doing his business at the motorcycle shop close to the scene when it happened.

He said: "I heard something crack down from the road, luckily no passenger was injured." Police Captain Woraphong Wongsuwan, Deputy Inspector Traffic from Kubangluang police station said: "The CCTV footage will be checked and all witnesses will be further questioned to find the driver.

All damages need to be paid by the offender."
