PEOPLE GATHER FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE NIGHT OF PROTESTS IN SPRINGFIELD

For a second night in a row, protestors are taking to the streets in Springfield demanding action be taken against police.

Emma...according to one of the black unity leaders, this is a last minute protest thrown together in response to last night's stand off against springfield pd.

Tonight's protest will show they're not done yet and their voices won't be silenced by law enforcement.

The theme of tonight is to defund the police.

Connor mccarthy was on the scene last night, as officers in riot gear pushed demonstrators back..... one protester told me tonight he was told by springfield pd to put his microphone down because it was a noise violation.

But then anti protesters on bike's revved their engines that were just as loud if not louder.

They are not happy with the way they were treated by the springfield pd.
