Woman attempts to make up for missed time by trying to go on 52 first dates

On June 24, Michaela Farrell, of Brooklyn, set up a small table at Fort Greene Park with a sign that read.“Do you miss dates?

I sure as hell do!

Recently I realized I have not been on a date in one year.In honor of PRIDE, I am attempting to make up for 52 dateless weekends by going on 52 speed dates TODAY!”.Farrell, a puppeteer and an ensemble member of the theater group New York Neo-Futurists.told the New York Post she also used the opportunity to “explore ways of creative expression”.Yet, the 24-year-old was quick to point out that she was not in character during speed-dating sessions and that she was, in fact, looking for love.By the end of the day, she had gone on 36 dates out of the 52 she had hoped for.“It meant more to me to sit down and talk to people and connect with an individual who I didn’t know,” she admitted .“A date could be a lot of things, the cool thing is learning about new people”
