Andhra Pradesh Police has arrested a government official, who thrashed a woman colleague on June 27 in Nellore following a verbal spat.
The incident took place at AP tourism hotel when deputy manager Bhaskar lost control over a verbal spat and thrashed his senior woman assistant with what appeared to be an iron rod after she asked him to wear a mask.
The victim filed a complaint and the police have registered case under sections 324 and 355 of IPC.
