names in I64 fatal crash

We now know the names of a woman and child killed in a seven-vehicle crash on i-64 near the scott-fayette county line yesterday afternoon.

The scott county sheriff's office identified the victims as 48-year old donna vanek and her 11-year old nephew...brody vanek...both of saint joseph county, indiana....which is south bend.

Deputies say donna vanek had slowed in the eastbound lane because of an accident when a truck plowed into her car.

Three other people were hurt in the multiple-vehicle crash.

He's charged with manslaughter...but deputies say more charges are expected to be filed.
