Patrol is sharin a warning for drivers ahead of the upcoming holiday weekend.
They're seeing an increase in deadly accidents and want you to be sure you're staying safe on the roads.

<<it's a number the missouri state highway patrol isn't very happy withsot they say deadly traffic accidents are up 15% across the show-me state, from this time last year and with the holiday weekend fast approaching, state troopers want drivers to know, they'll be out in force.
Sot state troopers recently tweeted just this past tuesday, they investigated 5 crashes which killed a total of 7 people statewide, that was all in one day.
The highway patrols says they will be doing their part to make sure roads are safe, but they also say they know its a job they can't do alone.
Sot troopers acknowledge the messages are tried and true, but they're worth repeating in efforts to keep drivers safe sot ron johnson kq2 news.
