Volunteers needed for food program

And maintain a safe environment.

This pandemic is also putting a strain on local groups -- already serving the community.

We've told you about the "clay county youth food program" and the work of volunteers to feed area kids.

Volunteers say they're so grateful for community support... but they have another request for you now.

These volunteers say...they need "you" to join them.

More volunteers can help "pack up" and "serve food" to families.

Volunteers filled bags...full of food this morning.

Each sunday morning... the group gathers to bundle food and make deliveries across the county.

The group has enough people to get the job done... but organizers say there's still room for more.
