COVID-19: Delhi crosses 1 lakh mark, reports 1379 new cases

India became the third worst affected country in the world due to COVID-19 on July 06.

The confirmed cases in India will soon cross 7 lakh mark.

Maharashtra recorded 5,368 new COVID-19 cases and 204 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking total number of cases to 2,11,987 and death toll to 9,026.

According to the state health department, mumber of active cases stands at 87,681.

Recovery rate among the patients is 54.37%.

Being the second worst-hit state in the country, confirmed cases in Tamil Nadu is over 1 lakh.

Tamil Nadu reported 61 deaths and 3,827 new COVID-19 positive cases on July 06.

The state health department reported that the total number of positive cases stands at 1,14,978 including 46,833 active cases and 1,571 deaths.

Being the third most affected state, COVID-19 cases crossed 1 lakh mark in Delhi, with 1379 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.

Total number of cases stands at 1,00,823 including 72,088 recovered/discharged/migrated and 25,620 active cases.

48 deaths reported today; the death toll is at 3,115.

In the last 24 hours, 933 new COVID-19 positive cases and 24 deaths have been reported in Uttar Pradesh.

Where several states in the country are witnessing increase in the COVID-19 cases, Ladkah reported decrease in the number of positive cases.

10 patients were cured and discharged in Ladakh and active case drop to 168.

3 more personnel of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) were tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

There are total 151 active cases and 273 have recovered till date.
