‘Glee’ Star Naya Rivera Missing After Family Boating Trip Naya Rivera, best known for her role as Santana Lopez on the hit show “Glee,” has gone missing in Southern California.
The 33-year-old actress was on a boating trip at Lake Piru on Wednesday with her 4-year-old son at the time of her disappearance.
According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, another boater found their boat drifting on the lake.
The 4-year-old was reportedly wearing his life vest, and an adult life vest was found on the boat.
Rivera was nowhere to be found, and her son was asleep on board.
Authorities were immediately notified and began searching the area with an air and dive team.
The search was resumed Thursday morning.
Authorities are calling it a possible drowning, as Rivera’s son said they went swimming, but his mother did not get back onto the boat.
