High school football decision looming large

The coronavirus pandemic isn’t going away and neither is the desire to play high school football in the fall.

Pandemic isn't- the corona-virus pandemic isn't- going away... and neither is th- desire to play high school- football, in the fall.- unfortunately... that desire- already took a backseat, to the- current reality in new mexico..- where the season was- pushed back, to the spring... o- thursday.

- as a result... the state of - mississippi... has to at least- have- the same conversation.- the mississippi high school - activities association is - planning to meet, at 10 a-m - tuesday... to discuss not only- the future of high school - football... but all fall sports- one source tells news 25... - what's on the table is a wide - range of- options... starting with a- completely normal regular - season... all the way up to - flipping the fall and spring- calendars.- other contingency plans exist,- in between those- two extremes... when it comes t- scheduling and fan attendance - policies.

- a firm decision is expected to- come out of tuesday's - meeting... leading up to what's- scheduled to be the first - official- football practice... on august- 3rd.-
