Tibetans protested against Communist Party of China in Dharamshala's suburb on July 23.
The protestors carried placards and posters with a message written on it -'XI Fails Tibet' and 'Free Tibet Now'.
They also unfurled the banner which reads-'Down With China'.
While peaking to ANI, the National Director of Student for a Free Tibet India, Rinzin said, "Today we are here to protest against the Chinese Communist Party especially the government itself because July 23 marks the 99th anniversary of Communist Party of China (CPC).
Usually, this is a day of celebration for Chinese but as a Tibetan this is a sad moment for us because the foundation of CPC is based on bloodshed and dictatorship that's why we are here to protest." "We did a banner action and unfurled a 30*50 feet banner which reads 'Down With China', 'Tibet Independence India's Security' and 'Free Tibet Now'.
We are here to request to government of India to specifically raise the issue of Tibet," she added.
The Tibetan community in USA reportedly held a protest against China. The protest was reportedly held in New York's Jackson Heights. Demonstrators also paid their respects to an Indian army martyr. The protestors eulogised Nyima Tenzin, a soldier of special frontier force. Tenzin died at LAC in ladakh amid tension with china. He was killed in a landmine blast near Pangong Tso. Tenzin is probably the first S.F.F. soldier to have been given a public funeral. The S.F.F. is a secretive unit of Indian Army with Tibetan and Gurkha soldiers. The Indian tricolour and the Tibetan flag were also hoisted at the protest. India has been a haven for Tibetans fleeing Chinese persecution. Watch the full video for more.

A group of young people pick up garbage on the hills in Dharamshala every Sunday. They have named themselves as 'Dhauladhar Cleaners'. They are motivating local people regarding garbage management and its disposal. Team is educating youth to make the city clean, and their main focus is to work towards solution for pollution. Sandhya, a research scholar, said, "We collect garbage on every Sunday. Our aim is to make people aware about garbage management and motivate them to keep this place clean."
Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama's security is being tightened following the detention of two persons who were allegedly tracking his movement on the directions of Chinese national Charlie Peng. Police arrested both who were allegedly tracking Dalai Lama’s movement. Earlier, Charlie Peng was booked by ED for allegedly running money laundering racket. Himachal Pradesh CM Jai Ram Thakur spoke about Dalai Lama’s security. Thakur said that he had directed the state police to further strengthen the Dalai Lama's security and instructed them to be more vigilant and cautious in Dharamshala where his residence is located. The Department of Health, Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) observed the World Breastfeeding Week in Himachal Pradesh's Dharamshala. World Breastfeeding Week began from August 01 and it will end on August 07. A 5-minute video was screened to spread awareness on breastfeeding theme. Every year Health Department organise this week to educate expecting mothers about the significance of breastfeeding and its long term health benefits for the child as well as for the mother. The event began with the announcement of winners and screening of their video presentations.
Members of the Tibetan community in New York organised a protest against China at Jackson Heights, also known as Little India, to show their solidarity with SSF (Special Frontier Force) commando Nyima Tenzin. Nyima, a Tibetan-Indian hero of the elite covert paramilitary unit SFF was killed on the night of 29-30 August in eastern Ladakh in India. The 51-year old soldier died after he stepped on to a 1962 vintage anti-personnel mine near the southern bank of the Pangong lake. The Tibetan community across the world is angry about China's recent aggression in Ladakh and they accused Beijing for occupying Tibet for the past several decades. The Tibetan National Congress led by President Tseten Lhagyal also held solidarity prayers as a tribute to brave SFF commando Nyima Tenzin. The Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) belongs to the Tibetan refugee community that has settled in India due to Chinese atrocities.
