Mocs looking for new football partners after Southern Conference cancels fall sports.

The mocs football team will not play for a socon title this year.

The league canceled all fall sports today due to the coronavirus.

The southern conference hopes that their fall sports will be able to play some sort of sping schedule.

In the meantime, the league left open the option for schools to pursue non-conference football games in the fall, and that's what u-t-c plans to do.

Wharton:"we wouldn't have nine games or eight games, we'd just try to be able have a season.

A lot of that has to do with some of our players on the team.

This is their last go round.

If we don't play, their eligibility would possibly be up by december.

There's plenty of fcs out there.

We're looking at sun belt.

Conference usa type schools for us to be able to find several games with them."
