The Border Security Force shot down 5 infiltrators along the Indo-Pak border in Punjab's Tarn Taran district early on Saturday morning.
The Punjab BSF said troops noticed suspicious movement of intruders violating International Border and challenged them to stop, but the intruders fired upon BSF troops.
This development comes on a day a parallel terror-related search is underway in Delhi after a suspected ISIS operative was nabbed on Friday night.
