Also known as a Nycticebus Coucang, the tiny primate with big eyes is in danger of extinction after becoming a target for Southeast Asia's illegal animal market.

The Slow loris is seen in a cage on August 27, being held by officers after local residents handed the animal over to the Nature Conservation Agency.

According to local media, many slow lorises are captured from their natural habitat every year and sold online or to local wildlife markets, often as pets.
