That is right joey those that knew roby say she had a smile that would brighten any room.

And helping students cope with the loss of a beloved young woman... is something the school district is focused on... pkg shock and a loss for words "we don't know why certain things happen..

But we must stick together."

That's what many people in noxubee county are feeling.

The accident and the death of a local teenage leaves the community in pain.

"it was early sunday morning on old west point road near camp airport road where the car was traveling eastbound we are off to the left and slammed into a tree right behind me.

And in that car was five people and one of them..

How could it be one of my students?

Broadnax says after hearing the tragic news..

He focused his attention to roby's family..

I did say that the noxubee county school district stands in support and ready to assist in anyway possible to assist the family."

And when it comes to the healing process for the students?

Says the loss of roby has left students speechless... sot - angelia williams - coordinator of counseling/suppor t - noxubeen school district "this morning several of the teachers said that students were silent and many of them were not able to participate in the virtual learning this morning.

So what we do is just put out the message to students and parents that, you know if they need support or assistance in this time just reach out to us here at the school."

And while many students may deal with this loss in their own way..

Williams wants students to know... "the feelings that they may be experiencing such as fear stress during this time those are completely normal.
