The Locker Room Game of the Week Preview: Carroll vs. North Side

Week three of the high school football season brings us an aerial attack showdown between North Side and Carroll

Hey good evening everyone..

Well heading into week three of the high school football season, just three teams remain unbeaten in the s-a-c..

Dwenger and northrop have both been impressive, but no one has been more dominant than carroll..the chargers outscored their first two opponents by a combined 64 points, but a much tougher test likely awaits them tomorrow night..

It's 6-a #10 carroll hosting 5-a #12 north side in the locker room's game of the week, and petar hood is here to get you ready for it..

)justin that scoreboard behind me should see plenty of action tomorrow night, as two of the most explosive offenses in the area meet up in our game of the week.

Through just two games, carroll and north side have combined to score over 150 points.

And the talent each team possesses at the quarterback position is a big reason why.)north side's duce taylor has already thrown for over 700 yards and six touchdowns this season, while jeff becker's dual-threat ability has led directly to over 650 yards and eight touchdowns for the chargers.

The stats speak for themsleves.

These are two of the best signal-callers in the state.

Both have hopes of leading their teams to an s-a- c title.

And getting a win on friday would go a long way towards doing just that.)duce taylor: "this win is very important.

We get this win, we still got a chance to get the sac.

We feel like we're going to get the win and end up with the sac, so we're ready for it."adrian sewell: "i do look forward to there being a lot of points put up this game, but i think we'll put up more points.

Hopefully our defense can get some stops.

It's going to come down to whoever gets the most stops."mike brevard: "the thing about becker, he's just so good about extending the play.

You've got to contain him and force him to throw, because he's deadly with his feet as everybody knows.

Defensively they're sound and they're aggressive.

We've got to get the ball out of duce's hands quick, and then on defense contain becker."jeff becker: "biggest thing for us is we have to come out with a hot start and just play a hard, fast, physical game.

If we execute and play our game, we're going to have a fun time and a good night on friday."daniel riecke: "we know their offense has speed.

They have good playmakers and wide receivers.

Duce taylor is talked about a lot.

But we really just feel that we're better across the board.

We've got a strong defense this year.

We've got guys that want to get after it.

We've got guys that want to hit people every single play.

We really expect to have that continued success on friday night."doug dinan: "you can't win the conference in week three.

You can't even lose the conference in week three.

Our focus this week is on north side high school.

It's step three, as i keep comparing it to a ladder to our players.

You've got to climb the third rung of that ladder if you want to get to the top.")and adding to that excitement is the fact that, for the firt time this season, there will be fans allowed in the stands at all sac games on friday night.

Of course we'll have highlights from all of those games for you in the locker
