Governor kate brown granted a sutherlin woman clemency last week&.
After she spent 14 years in prison for killing her teenaged nephew in 2004, when she was a teenager.
Kezi 9 news reporter evita garza explains why some neighbors are not ready to welcome her back into society.
Neighbors say it was a crisp september afternoon when they heard the gunshot that killed 14-year old troy anderson& nearly 16 years ago.

He was shot in cold blood by his aunt&then 15-year- old rebecca machain who was trying to steal hundreds of dollars from her sister, wendy hacker.
Officials said she was afraid her nephew was going to tell on her& so she shot him.?i just thought it was pure evil?
Machain was sentenced to 25 to life in prison in 2006 and robert hamilton says she deserves every second.
But now that she getting out 11 years early&he doesn know what to think.?i think for shooting someone in the back of the head just so callous and cold you know& i think she needs more time to think about it?
Even though hamilton is adamant machain deserves more time, other neighbors say she deserves to get out of prison.
Because machain was young when she committed the crime, they'd like to believe she;'s learned from her mistakes.

It still unclear why machain was given clemency&.and her lawyer declined to explain why.
But we do know machain was released from prison in wilsonville& and she is on supervised release in yamhill county for now.
