Clinton Central School hosts a special dedication ceremony for the Edward Porter Felt Flight 93 Memorial.

Edward porter felt was a 1977 clinton high school graduate.

Hijackers planned to crash the plane in washington dc but passengers, including felt, fought back.

In just about an hour from now...clinton central school will host a special dedication ceremony for the edward porter felt flight 93 memorial.

The permanent memorial to edward is being established on the grounds of clinton central school near the clinton foundation memorial brick garden.

The memorial will consist of an informational pedestal, an engraved dakota mahogany granite bench, a stone from the shanksville crash site memorial.

In addition, a fund will be established to maintain the memorial and fund a scholarship in the name of felt to be awarded annually to a clinton high school student.

Dr. stephen grimm 21:09:36 this is a visable reminder of the events that happened that day, and what it allowed us to do in terms of being able to think about what those passengers did and who they were and reflect on that and gain an new understanding of what happened that day and perhaps who we are and who we cld bend those typeof messag that c be conveyedto ours because it so close and right on our campus.

The clinton central school district foundation is accepting donations to support the 9/11 memorial and the ed felt scholarship...we'll have the information on how you can donation on our website wktv.com.
