A Tupelo restaurant made sure first responders were well fed Friday.

Were well fed today.

Owners of mike's bbq house gave free lunches to front-line workers to commemorate 9- 11.

First responders didn't have to call in beforehand.

They just had to pull up to the drive through window.

Owner, mike keys, said he wanted to show his appreciation for first responders.

"that's police officers, firemen, and emt for 9-11 because every time we call 911 they show up so it's time we show up for them."

It's a wonderful thing that mike and them to be doing this for them."
