Ten football season..

And that affects more than you might think..

People from all over the west lafayette area genuinely live the college football experience..

Sports 18's dakota simon caught up with a couple who usually have a front row seat to purdue football gameday..

Pkg: this..

Is what a normal saturday morning would look like for jamie and heather redman..

Jamie it does kind of stink..

Since moving in three years ago, jamie has marked out parking spaces for incoming football tailgaters..

Jamie really great relationships that we have built..

Jamie took the time to show me just how packed their front yard can get..

Jamie 108 between our house and next door.

For 40 dollars you can have prime tailgate real estate..

Jamie i don't think we've been to a game on time yet..

But without boilermaker football season at least for now..

Jamie i hope it comes back..

The view from the redman's front porch looks like this..

No roars from the crowd..

And they aren't alone..

Yards up and down northwestern ave remain empty..

Heather we love hearing the whistles we really truly miss it..

It's not all doom and gloom though..

Jamie i will be honest it doesn't do my lawn much good, to have all these cars on it, i am actually working on trying to make it look a little bit better..

The redman's and the rest of us..

Just ready for football to be back in west lafayette..

Heather really the relationship and the experience are what we miss the most..
