We're learning more about one of the major losses from that fire -- in idle-wild park.

Staff from the oregon department of fish and wildlife says the rock creek hatch-ery and all of their staff housing buildings -- burned down.

But, they say their education building is still standing tonight.

They also lost 400 thousand young fish they were raising at the hatch-ery.

Tim walters phoner: "they invested a lot of their lives and were very dedicated to the facility.

They are all very devastated by the loss?

But, they're coordinating with fire officials to visit and assess the damage done.

They also managed to save 700 adult fish that were transferred to another hatch-ery to begin
