Just like with traditional unemployment benefits, after a payment has been released, it typically appears in your bank account or on your debit card in 1-2 business days.
If you do not see these funds after 1-2 business days, the state says you could contact your bank.
In addition, fema has approved new york for the second and final round of lost wages assistance funding.
This round of funding provides three additional weeks of lost wages assistance benefits, paid retroactively for the weeks ending august 23rd, august 30th, and september 6th.
New yorkers will begin to receive these payments next week.
To receive the lost wage assistance payments next week, certification must be submitted by 5 p.m.
On tuesday, sept.
22, for those who have not already pre- qualified.

Those who submit their certification after the 22nd...will be paid on a rolling basis.
