The zone... and welcome good evening good evening and welcome to in the zone... how crazy is this, with the completion of high school football tonight we're now over halfway through the regular season.... we were all worried about getting a season in, but now it feels like it flying through.... we've seen a lot of good football so far and we had some incredible matchups tonight... as unbeaten south vermilion and parke heritage were both in action.... terre haute north and terre haute south faced the bloomington schools in a conference indiana showdowns.... plus, linton and west vigo were both looking for road wins....we have action from a season high 11 games tonight on in the zone... we'll start with one of our remaining unbeaten teams in the area.... south vermillion is four and ohh for the first time in 11 years... the wildcats tonight were also trying to beat sullivan for the first time since 2009.... the bronze helmet was on the line in clinton between the wildcats and arrows... sullivan with a backwards pass in the third quarter....that's a live football....arrows gave up on the play but south vermillion's kadin mcman didn't he gets the fumble recovery... one superstar gets another one here.....south vermillion qb anthony garzolini with a throw he'd like back...heck of a read and pick by sullivan's randy kelly... less than five to play in the game....william newbe gets in from a yard out for the arrows to tie the game at seven....that would force overtime.... newbe had a huge game for the arrows 124 yards on the ground...first play of ot it look like h had nothing, instead he finds daylight down the sideline....touchdown arrows...they get the p-a-t to go up 14-7..... second play of ot for south vermillion and anthonio nieves dives into the endzone....wildcats down 14-13..... need the extra point to force a second ot.... how many times have you seen special teams win or lose games in high school football...sullivan gets a good pass rush they tip the ball and it goes wide left, the pat is no good..... that's how the arrows win the bronze helmet in thrilling fashion... sullivan wins 14-13 in ot......arrows hand south vermillion their first loss of the season and beat them for the 11th
