The Harford County School District is considering a plan to bring all teachers and students back to the classroom by mid-November.

CONSIDERING A PLAN TO BRINGALL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS BACKTO THE CLASSROOMS BYMID-NOVEMBER.

THE DISTRICTPRESENTED THE PROPOSEDTIMELINE AT TONIGHT'S MEETING.BUT THE NEW PLAN IS GETTINGSOME PUSHBACK FROM TEACHERSAND PARENTS WHO DONITSTRICKLAND IS IN HARFORDCOUNTY WITH THE LATESTDEVELOPMENTS..And Kelly if this plan wasapproved all Harford Countyteachers and students would beback in the classroom byNovember 16th.

But teachersand some students could returnas soon as mid- october.

Thisplan was presented by thecounty schools superintendentonce again at tonightof education meeting.

Underthe plan, Harford countyteachers would return onOctober 12 and studentskindergarten through secondgrade would go back on the19th.

Grades 3 through 5 aswell as pre-k would walk thehalls once again on November4th.

And middle and highschools students would returnto a classroom on the 16th.Now, this is a one day a weekhybrid model where a quarterof students will be in class,while the others learn online.And students returning to theclassroom is contingent on howwe are controlling the virus.but during the public commentperiod at tonightmost of the SPEAKERS WEREteachers.

And almost all ofthem expressed concerned aboutthe plan.

Theyabout PPE, social distancingand that it could put them atrisk of getting the virus.Kelly Fodel, a parent of threeHarford County public schoolstudents told me, she doesnsupport the plan either forall of the reasons imentioned.

THE TEACHERUNION, TOLD ME THESUPERTINDENT CAN MOVE FORWARDWITH HIS PLAN DESPITE THEOPPOSITION.
