School board holds zoom meeting to make sure everyone's ready.
Once again change course when it comes to educating students.
On monday they will begin a hybrid learning plan.
Originally the district had planned to start the school year with fully remote learning, but at last week's meeting the school board voted to go the hybrid route.
At a special zoom meeting this evening the board was able to check in with all the schools in the district to make sure they were ready to go and to answer any questions parents and teachers might have.
They also went over a new app the district is using called easy screen.
It's a way to prescreen students and staff for covid symptoms before they enter a school building.
"there are the questions to the screening that would beanswi have no symptoms. click done.
The green light means i'm negative i passed my assessment, and i can attend school."
If any of the questions are answered yes.... a yellow warning would appear advising the user to seek a medical provider as soon as possible.
The schools will receive a list of those who have completed their pre screening each morning.
Anyone who has failed to do so will be pulled aside and given the screening before they can proceed to their classroom.
