Year to date, Lam Research registers a 11.4% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Incyte, trading down 2.6%.
Incyte is lower by about 4.1% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Moderna, trading down 2.5%, and Advanced Micro Devices, trading up 2.6% on the day.
