Joy lyn's candies was completely destroyed during the camp fire.

This sign behind me is one of the only things that survived.

Now, nearly two years later, the sign is hanging at this new location which will open in just a few days.

Joy lyn candies owner glenn hartley still remembers the day he was forced to evacuate from his business in paradise when the camp fire hit.

Glenn hartley: the most important thing for us was that the business survived, but then we found out it hadn't.

Now after almost two years and a lot of hard work - his candy shop is ready to reopen its doors again.

Kristian: how important was it for you to rebuild your business?

It was the most important, it's what we do for a living, this is what i'm good at this is what i love to do.

It felt important to bring this to paradise.

Nats of candy machine hartley has been busy in the kitchen whipping up a variety of goodies and says he cant wait to his customers again.

The support has been heartwarming and just really makes me feel good and i know that once we get the doors open we will do well.

I hope we can keep up.

My challenge will be keeping up with as much as how people can't wait to get our candy.
