Former louisville detective brett hankison was indicted for endangering lives when he fired 10 shots into an apartment next to taylor's.

Hankison was arrested and released on bail.

Officers jonathan mattingly and miles cosgrove, who fired the shot that killed taylor, will not face criminal charges.

"use of force by mattingly and cosgrove was justified to protect themselves."

Taylor was killed on march 13th, as police executed a no-knock search warrant for drugs and money.

Hankison is also under investigation by an f-b-i led task force for sexual assault allegations unrelated to the breonna taylor case.
