Gun-wielding police approach man during manhunt after knife attack in Paris

Police have been seen approaching man in Paris amid the knife attack that has injured at least four people.

Footage filmed by César Amalou on Boulevard Richard-Lenoir shows a man being approached by gun-wielding officers while holding his hands in the air.

A knife attack close to the former headquarters of the magazine Charlie Hebdo left four injured, two seriously.

Police have confirmed that one suspect has been arrested.

The filmer told Newsflare: "I was going to get my car, I saw the ambulances and police without knowing what was going on, and this man was stopped right in front of me as I was going to my garage.

"He was very cooperative, the police pointed at him with a pistol and a rifle, they asked him to take off his sweater and t-shirt and take off his bag, then I was asked to leave.

"I did not see what was happened after."
