The parke heritage and south vermillion game loss a little bit of its luster with the wildcats suffering their first loss of the season last week.

But still the wolves and wildcats had a lot to play for tonight as both want to win the wrc and right now they are both unbeaten in conference play.

The 1a, third ranked wolves hosted 2a, 10th ranked wildcats at the wolf den.

1st qtr, christian johnson fumbles the snap but recovers and punches it in.

Wolves take the early 8-0 lead.

Ensuing kickoff, great boot from quinton hanks but south vermillion's special teams was ready for the big kick as dalton payton fakes every left before cutting up the middle and good bye.

An 87 yard kick return to the house.

Sv trails 8-7.

Still in the first, sv knocking on the door but it's fourth and short and anthony garzolini is picked off by noble johnson.

Johnson is known for being one of the best wide outs in the state but he shows off the anticipation with that pick.

That's an 86 yard pick six.

Wolves lead 15-7.

Final seconds of the first, joey shew decides he wants to run over the whole wolves d on his way in for six.

Wildcats tie things at 15 after one qtr of action.

2nd qtr, still fast paced.

Garzolini connects with braden allen for the first down but allen wants it all.

59 yards to the house.

Wildcats lead 21-15.

Next wolves possession, christian johnson doing his best cam newton.

He punches in his second td of the half.

We're tied at 21.

Wildcats facing another 3rd and long and it's garzo hooking up with thomas brooks this time and brooks is off to races just like allen before him.

Sv leads 28-21.

Wolves answer a punch with a punch as johnson puts this on a rope for anthony wood.

Wolves tie things up at 28 w/4 mins left in the half.

Are you dizzy yet rick?

Under two to play it's shew on the jet sweep and he punches in his second td of the half.

Wildcats lead 35-28 at the mid way point.

The offenses took the 3rd qtr off so we head to the 4th still 35-28 sv but johnson gets in for his third rushing td of the game and the wolves have had enough of kicking.

They go for two and johnson hits riley ferguson.

Parke heritage 36-35.

Wildcats respond with a big drive capped off by anthonio neives and this 20 yard td run.

Sv goes for two and it's shew finding pay dirt once again off the jet sweep.

Cats lead 43-36.

Next wolves possession, johnson to wood in the flat and he's got a host of blockers that lead him to the end zone.

Wolves go for two and it's johnson to ferguson again.

Parke heritage back in front 44-43 with 1:41 left.

A great final drive by sv is capped off with a garzolini sneak on the one yard line.

Cats go for one yard line.

Cats go for two to make it a seven point game and get it as garzolini finds allen wide open.
