More than 78,000 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Nevada since the beginning of the pandemic, according to the state health department.

More than 1,500 people have died.

The department has not released data for survival rates statewide.

Right now the state's cumulative test positivity rate is 9.9% -- which is the lowest it's been since the end of July -- which means nearly 10% of people getting tested for COVID-19 are testing positive.
