Finals are set for this evening ..

The girls were in action this afternoon.

Mccutcheon and harrison meeting in the final for a third year in a row.

Last year ..

The mavs edged the raiders in penalty kicks ..

That was last year ..

This is 20-20 ..

Christian stiverson and harrison looking to avenge that loss and advance to regionals ..

Early in the opening half ..

Lexi fraley is tripped up by kaleigh scheumann in the box ..

It results in a penalty kick ..

And fraley takes care of business ..

Harrison strikes first less than five minutes into this contest ..

Mccutcheon not overreacting ..

But less than 10 minutes later ..

Fraley again sneaks one past olivia smith ..

The raiders now lead 2-nothing ..

They entered this game 12-2-1 on the season including four straight wins ..

Harrison clobbers mccutcheon 5- nil to capture the class 3-a kokomo sectional title.

Take a look at that trophy.... we call it sectional saturday... but perhaps a better name would have been shutout saturday... central catholic dispatches faith christian... the knights take home the class a sectional 38 hardware... they'll move onto the northwestern regional beginning a week from today... and west lafayette shuts out kv 4-0... allison (hale) haehl with 2 two goals in that victory... rdp led by two at the halfway mark... they'll move on to the plymouth regionals next weekend.... the city of west lafayette brought home two sectional championships today in west side and harrison.... congratulations to them... out to the ampitheater we go...
