Week nine of the Friday Night Frenzy

Facing marion ..

The mavs looking to string together wins after a trouncing of muncie central a week ago..

Marion no easy test..

The giants utilize a heavy dose of the run game..

A really windy night at ellison stadium..

Ken frauhiger passing on some advice to his defensive back conner gertzen..

This was a really tough night for the mav defense..

First half action i told you the giants love to run the football..

Here's one of them..

Cubie jones takes the snap and does the work himself..

The junior really fast..

Really hard to bring down..

That's a marion touchdown..

The giants take a 7-0 lead..

Later in the half..

Jones gives it to malachi silmon..

Not simon..

But silmon..

The giants take a 14-0 lead..

Second quarter action..

Ethan smith drops back and he's got a wide open josh garcia..

But watch what happens here..

It looks like garcia has the toucdown grab..

But it flips up into the air..

And zaimar burnett is there to pick it off... number 5 is off to the races..

He takes the interception all the way down inside the 40 yard line..

That leads to a kyle coryea field goal..

And the giants are up 17-0..

In the second half it's more of the same..

Jones gives it to silmon..

21 takes it right up the gut and scores it..

A fire near the school cut the power at the stadium late in this game..

Nobody was hurt..

They call it at 31-0..

That's the final score..

Meanwhile in muncie ..

Lafayette jeff demolishes muncie central 63-zip.

The bronchos close out the regular season unbeaten for a second straight year ..

Up next: lake central at scheumann stadium in sectional semifinals..

Harrison hosting richmond tonight..

It's been three years since these two teams have met..

The raiders won the last meeting 62-7..

Hey guys... kyle mcghee and the cougars back in action tonight after a two week quarantine.... they took on a blackhawks team who has had their fair share of quarantine struggles as well... on homecoming night the corvettes were out for halftime.... perhaps the flashiest thing was that carroll offense.... alright out to flora we go... cougars hoping to bounce back from three staight l's that preceded their quarantine... kyle mcghee's bunch hasn't played since september 25th.... cougars lead 13-6 in the first... heath richardson finds jaden harness up top... number 14 makes the cut... and the fake.... brought down hard but hey it stil counts for 6... extra point is good.... 20-6 the score.... take a water break, you earned it... carroll's first half success isn't done... blackhawks quarterback keenan warren drops back.... gonna feel that one in the morning..

Jackson ayers on the sack... later on in the second... it's richardson to clay metzger... untouchable down the sideline... take it to the house.... is it good?

Yep... sheridan's second half comeback fell short... carroll wins 38 to 22.... students: everybody do the hot dog rumble....everybody do the hot dog rumble....everybody..... rumble.

Everybody rumble for a little sagamore conference ball... frankfort hosting crawfordsville.... the athenians...looking for their first win of the season... hot dogs looking to go over 500... frankfort up 14-8... sam michael lets it fly... it's a pick!

Isaac rodgers, the sophomore makes the snag... no athenian points result... frankfort needs to respond.... the most sincere form of flattery?

Hot dog footbal... give bryce mcdonald the turnover belt... that's the momentum they need... sam michael or michael vick?
