Jackson County Elections Office assists disabled voters

How people in Jackson County can get assistance voting.

Tyler says: disabled voters and those with special needs are actively taking part in this year's presidential election.

Now there is a number of resources available to them.

Vo: to make the process easier -- the jackson county elections office is available to assist people either in person or in their homes.

County clerk -- chris walker says the county doesn't want anyone to feel left out of the voting process.

Now we know with the disability community a lot of people would rather use their own equipment in the safety and security of their home.

So again, the biggest thing is to reach out to us and we can provide options to them to be able to assist them in their voting.
