On this day before election day, President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden are focused on swing states.

Are in place.

Another big story we're following this morning... it's the day before election day.

News 10's jordan kudisch has been monitoring things along the presidential campaign trail -- and explains how the ongoing pandemic could impact voters' decisions.

Jon, alia - president donald trump and former vice president joe biden spent the final weekend of the 20-20 presidential campaign on the road.

"a vote for me and the republican party is a vote for the american dream."

(applause fade) "the only thing that can tear america apart is america itself.

And that's exactly what trump has been trying to do."

As we just mentioned - one of the major issues during this race is the covid-19 pandemic.

According to johns hopkins university, since january, there have been more than nine-point-two million confirmed cases in the u-s - and more than 230-thousand deaths.

And now voters will decide who should be in the white house to work to control covid-19 and help the country rebound.

< ''biden wants to keep everyone locked up.'' ''i'm not going to shut down the economy, i'm going to shut down the virus.'' (nats cars honking) [take: jk nwsm] jorda} at least 31-states set a record in october for their highest number of new covid-19 cases.

That's according to data from johns hopkins university.

Coming up in our next half hour - we'll have more on the presidential candidates' final attempts to get "your" vote.

For now - reporting live in the newsroom, jordan kudisch, news 10.

And jordan... we understand there was some news coming out... about a late night campaign rally... by the president in florida.

And it had to do with the coronavirus - right?

That's right, jon.

It happened after the crow began chanting "fire fauci".

Here's some of the president's response.

Don't tell anybody but let me wait till a little bit after the election."

In reference to dr. fauci, the president went on to say quote "he's been wrong on a lot.

He's a nice man - though he's been wrong on a lot."
