A woman posted her story on Reddit’s“Am I the A******” forum to find out ifher complaint was justified.“Yesterday my husband and I orderedsome for pickup,” she wrote.
“On the order,I wrote, ‘No toast, severe allergy’”.“My husband came home with the food and lo andbehold there’s toast sitting on top of all of my food.I can’t eat it now, so I call the restaurant”.The restaurant worker told her she didn’twrite “no toast” on the order.After some convincing, the restaurant workeragreed to replace the order, but only part of it.“She put me on hold and then came back,‘Well the cook said the sausage was in aseparate container so we will replace the eggsand the hash browns but not the sausage’”.“[I said] ‘The sausage isn’t in a separate container,everything is together and I cannot eat this’”.The woman eventually gave up trying toreason with the workers over the phone.Instead, she called later to complainabout her treatment, but “the restaurantdidn’t really seem to care” .Reddit users were on the customer’sside.
