Mitch McConnell Tries To Soothe World: 'Every Four Years, We've Moved On'

Until October, US President Donald Trump had still refused to commit to transferring power peacefully, should Joe Biden be named president-elect.

Eventually, though, Trump backed down, saying he didn't want a transfer because he wanted to win.

Now, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is seeking to soothe those who fear Trump may change his mind again.

Business Insider reports McConnell assured a peaceful transfer of power between the Trump and Biden administrations.

We've had a peaceful transfer of power going back to 1792.

Every four years, we've moved on to a new administration.
