Wildfire victims in eight counties in oregon are eligible, including lane, linn, marion and douglas counties.

More than 25- thousand people have already applied.

Dolph diemont/fema, federal coordinating officer says,?we think maybe a lot of those people have not gotten the word and we just don want to fall through the crack?

More than 27 million dollars has already been put into people pockets.

The money can cover rent, home repairs, property loss and other disaster-related needs.
