The Nevada and California Highway Patrol added extra troopers to Interstate 15 on Wednesday near the Nevada-California border as Thanksgiving weekend travel starts for many drivers.
The NHP reported troopers had issued 470 citations as of 3 p.m.
With four drivers cited near Primm/Jean for speed and then again on the I-15 near St.
Rose Parkway.
