Chewie rescue story Chewbacca aka Chewie was found wandering the streets by police officers and taken to the Humane Society as a stray.
Shortly after, Chiquita Chihuahua Rescue took him in for some much needed care and to prepare him for adoption.
After spending two months at CCR, Chewie found his forever home and was officially adopted in 2015.
Chewie loves to show off his 6-toothed underbite and big personality.
His human family says Chewie has been such a joy and they want to spread awareness about the importance of adopting rescue animals.
