41 nbc's ariel schiller tells us ... how to get involved.

Off top michael flatley is one of the most famous irish dancers in the world.

Flatley says through his travels, he noticed a homelessness problem in every city he's visited.

And with the pandemic causing financial strain on most, he had to help.

"they've lost houses they've lost businesses they've lost their jobs and they can no longer make ends meet, its very sad so i thought maybe there's a way we can help somehow."

He began a campaign called "flatley's tap for ten" as a wa to raise money for homeless people, so he teamed up with depaul international.

Daybreak in macon is a part of their network.

Sister theresa sullivan says the fundraiser is a great way to have fun while helping others.

"what i love about it is michael has an amazing gift for dance and for reaching out to people and we all have a gift that we can share during this covid time to keep our community strong and safe."

Daybreak even got theatre macon involved.

They have a tap dance number in their holiday folley's show.

Before the pandemic, the theatre would host a holiday benefit for daybreak.

So for richard frazier, artistic director for theater macon, it wasn't even a question if they would participate.
